I'm on target to publish my novel, Return of the French Blue, in late March/early April 2012. Already published a little book of essays: Mother's Red Fingernail Polish. See Amazon for paper and digital books and enjoy the ride!

Eri, I've been very slow on using my blog site. Bad girl. Trying to set that right. Mazeer appears in Return of the French Blue. Novel should be published in April. Happy Pam.

You know, computers can't always tell time. I'm posting this at 6:03 pm on Monday, December 26, 2011. I don't think this will agree with the posting time.

Pam, I don't think your December 2011 calendar (upper right) is correct. It has December 25, which would have made Christmas on Saturday! It has been an unusual weekend. Because Christmas fell on a Sunday, banks and government offices are closed on Monday. I love to stop at the Kansas Coffee Company, catercorner from the courthouse. I play a little game with myself. I drive up the street, and if I can get a place to park, that means my muse has given me permission to park and go get coffee. If there are no places to park, that means that I need to go home and get to work. This morning I was delighted to drive up the street and see a number of parking places, until I realized that the coffee shop, like the courthouse, was closed today. No coffee! Boo Hoo.

Just returned from Romance Writers of America conference in NYC. What a wonderful organization. So nurturing! I return with ideas to revise my first mss into a Romantic Thriller, and prepare my second mss for e-publication. Met a friend of my at the conference that i haven't seen in 41 years and she has become my new writing coach and copy editor! Can't ask for more!
where have you been this summer and what are your writing projects? Feel free to share. -- pam

Hi Pam: Enjoyed your reading at the Lawrence library yesterday. good job. The above sites are also available to find event planning and see the flyer for each one scheduled.
I would enjoy you sharing some of the reads that you have been nnspired by. Always looking for more to absorb.
We both write memoir and tap into ouur past, but I would love to one day soon attempt a novel.
I will follow our advise and direction and of course, my muse. Never know when or here.
Thank you a again for your assistance and cooperation for the reading. best, Carole

I just read from my essay, "My Mother's Red Fingernail Polish" at the Lawrence public library. This was an event sponsored by Kansas City Voices, a periodical of prose, poetry and art. It was a joy to read to the public. It really was a terrific event. More readings will take place on a regular schedule though the summer. Please see www.kansascityvoices.com for the full schedule. The memoir i read today is also on my website. Please take a few minutes to read it! - pam

Hi, Pam -- I tried to send another KAC D2 member to look at your website over the weekend, and your site had disappeared. Now, it's available again -- maybe the problem was in my computer, anyway, I'll do what the radio hams do -- "re-check". All I got out of my muse who visited me while I was worrying about snow plows was one lousy haiku!
